Not Oil and Not From Morocco

When I first started to look for liquid soap two years ago, I got my hands on a discounted set of Moroccanoil. Even with a discount it was quite expensive - it goes for about 20 USD for a ~350ml of the product, but it was really good stuff:

  • Lasted quite long - it has consistency like warm, flowing honey
  • Most of the smells are very good and while washing my hands my mind drifts to the fairylands of Scheherazade
  • The bottle build is sturdy, lasts till the last drop, not a very sophisticate design, but it is not a thing to look at it either
  • Glycerin or whatever the heck was in the essence - worked very well - hands felt treated well and not dry. I could feel a nice surface of the skin while rubbing my fingers together and it did not feel oily

In general - nice product, albeit too expensive for me to use it. Oh, and by the way, it is not made in Morocco, but by an American company that has roots in Israel. At first I did not know that, but was curious where exactly in Morocco and have found out that it is just marketing gimmick. I should have been wiser by know :) You can read more about it here - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moroccanoil. Currently I am not buying products from this company anymore due to price and other reasons.

For a couple of people living together - one bottle lasted for about 3 weeks in a bathroom (the mathematics can only work if you use another soap in a kitchen).

My favourite scents were:

  • Oud Mineral
  • Spa Du Maroc
  • Fragrance Originale
